Appear Appoints Aaron Ardiri as Chief Technical Officer

Stockholm, April 2nd, 2008 – Appear, a leading provider of enterprise mobility software, today announced that it has named Aaron Ardiri Chief Technology Officer, as part of the growth of its management team based in Kista, Sweden.

An Australian and Swedish citizen, Aaron Ardiri brings over 15 years experience focusing on research and development in the area of mobile technology. He was previously the CTO of MedHand International AB, a high tech company focusing on medical information publishing towards mobile devices. During his tenure at Medhand, he managed the development and deployment of Dr Companion, an advanced mobile reference assistant for medical personnel.

“Appear caught my interest immediately because they had an innovative technology that could apply to both employees and consumers” says Aaron Ardiri. “The power of the context engine technology, combined with the ease of use of the provisioning, synchronization, device management and notification modules, convinced me that the early successes they had enjoyed in transportation could scale to other industries, and more importantly, to the mobile consumer space at large”.

Aaron Ardiri created a reputation for himself within the mobile community by releasing various shareware and commercial entertainment titles and providing consultancy services to some of the largest players in the mobile industry. He is also the creator of a multi-platform development kit, providing true native cross-platform abilities based on a single source code base and used within several commercial projects worldwide.

“Aaron has a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the mobile hardware to its limits, proving what is defined as not possible, always is possible”, says Xavier Aubry, CEO of Appear. “This is what attracted us to his profile. Today, as we are striving to reach out to an increasing variety of mobile devices, including the iPhone and Google Android devices, the mobile industry is in high need of competences such as Aaron’s. We are very pleased that he has accepted to join our management team”.
