Public Safety & SecuritySecurity is a top priority for public transportation systems, office buildings, public sector facilities, and even cities around the world. For security personnel, the ability to survey their surroundings, obtain up to the minute information regarding services, communicate effectively and discretely with their fellow staff members, and issue silent alerts in the case of a security breach are all paramount.
Appear IQ allows personnel direct access to video feed from security cameras and enables them to send requests for assistance to colleagues in the immediate area who can respond in the most time efficient manner. In addition, through their personal devices, personnel can issue a silent alert directly to headquarters, who can in turn survey the situation and take appropriate action. This is a much more effective method of obtaining assistance and, if necessary, clearing the area than with the use of loud speakers or radios and ensures a reduction in panic situations and an increase in the chances of apprehending any suspects.
