Your Profile
Appear is looking for a Developer with 2-6 years experience from both Java and Microsoft development. The candidate should have worked with the following techniques: Java, JEE, Microsoft Win32 and the .Net environment. You should also have a good understanding of database couplings with these environments, and have basic knowledge in database design as well as a broad experience of databases. A good knowledge and experience in IP networking is highly recommended and valued in order to make the correct design decisions and to fully understand the requirements from customers. Previous experience in wireless IP networking is preferred. Special merit is also given to skills in native application development for Windows or Linux platforms. The candidate will be involved in delivering software for customer projects outside of Sweden, so he should master English both in spoken and written form. Any additional language (French, Dutch, German, Swedish) is a plus, but is not required.

Your Key Responsibilities
The candidate will work closely with the CTO to translate complex functional and technical requirements from the customers into detailed project plans and schedules. The candidate will work closely with the Chief Architect to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

- Maintaining current technical knowledge bases to support rapidly changing technology
