Your Profile
You enjoy supporting the sales process from a technology point of view. You are at ease in external project meetings, where you need to manage tight resources and deadlines, while impressing the customer. You have implemented large enterprise mobility projects, as a project manager or software developer, in a variety of technology environments. You understand complex workflows and are able to translate them into development requirements. You have a customer-minded, hands-on, can-do attitude and are not afraid to travel.
You should have worked with the following technologies: Java 5, JEE based application servers and/or .NET compact framework, native Windows Mobile software development. You should also have a strong interest or existing knowledge of mobile technology. Specific knowledge in application design/usability is a plus.
You speak English fluently both in spoken and written form. Any additional language is a plus, but is not required.

Your Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Director of System Engineering to translate complex functional and technical requirements from the customers into detailed project plans and possible product modifications.
Your responsibilities will include in particular
- technical presentations to prospects and customers
- technical contributions to RFPs/RFQs
- prototyping of demo environments
- training of customer and partners
- gather customer requirements (user workflow analysis, functional requirements)
- product feedback (user stories for agile development) to the development team
- direct implementation or management of customer projects
- management of the partnership ecosystem of a specific project
- documentation and post-sales technical support
Compensation Plan
Appear provides market-level compensation plans as well as attractive bonus and stock-option plans.
